Rachel Youn
Rachel Youn (b. 1994, Abington, PA) is an artist living and working across sculpture and installation in Albuquerque, NM.
Youn has recently exhibited at Scuola Piccola Zattere (Venice, Italy), Night Gallery (Los Angeles, CA), G Gallery (Seoul, South Korea), Alice Amati (London, UK), The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (Ridgefield, CT), Wave Hill (Bronx, NY), Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (Rome, Italy), Laumeier Sculpture Park (St. Louis, MO), Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (Turin, Italy), The Naughton Gallery at Queen’s (Belfast, UK), and Soy Capitán (Berlin, Germany), among others.
Youn completed their MFA at Yale School of Art in 2024 and received their BFA from the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. They have completed residencies and fellowships at Scuola Piccola Zattere, Bemis Center, Lighthouse Works, ACRE, and Vermont Studio Center, and are a recipient of the Great Rivers Biennial Award and Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant. Their work has been featured in Art in America, ArtAsiaPacific, Artsy, Dazed, Galerie, Hyperallergic, Los Angeles Review of Books, Artillery, Elephant, and Vogue, among others. They are represented by Sargent’s Daughters.
